Major innovation companies of KHIDI Health Industry Startup Innovation Center MIK HOT SPOT Online Exhibition to open on May 14!

New attempt to promote Korean companies to domestic and foreign markets in post-coronavirus era!

Medical Devices Industry Fostering and Innovative Medical Devices Supporting Act came into effect on May 1. It is expected to be a starting point for accelerating the development and commercialization of innovative products in Korea’s medical device industry, and it will foster the medical device industry and expand new treatment opportunities. It is meaningful in the way that it accelerates the development and commercialization of innovative products and industrial development at the present time when the medical device companies are actively developing technologies and entering the global market.

For this, MIK HOT SPOT, the online exhibition for investment and business expansion of the innovative companies in KHIDI Health Industry Startup Innovation Center that will lead Korea, opened on April 30. As the business through online is rapidly growing due to the coronavirus issue, various attempts are being made to activate online business and investment in preparation for non-face-to-face economic growth.

Online exhibitions are expected to become a trend rather than countermeasures in the post-coronavirus era, and many company supporting organizations including KOTRA, KITA, and KOSMES are making various attempts to promote online exports.

AVING NEWS, Korea’s only convention media and online exhibition center by itself, began this project to help small and medium-sized Korean companies to enter the domestic and foreign markets through MIK Hot Spot (Made in Korea Online Exhibition) on its way to become the global online hot spot.

The online exhibition consists of opening the MIK ONLINE HOT SPOT exhibition, business introduction video for buyers and investors, domestic and global promotion, target promotion for MIK HOT SPOT network, and post-management after contacting the buyers and investors, open for 365 days a year.

△Atommerce

Atommerce Mindcafe Psychological Research Institute is an on-offline platform where pain can be shared and expert psychological care can be received. IT professionals, psychological experts, and psychiatrists created the community called Mindcafe for the first time, and a 1:1 psychological counseling platform that enables online psychological counseling with experts called Mindcafe Pro is also operating. And, there is also the offline center Mindcafe Psychological Care Center.

△Coreline Soft

The biggest feature of Coreline Soft’s lung cancer checkup system is that it is the cloud-based solution. Users connect to the cloud to read using the same software, and the deviation between each reader is reduced. The reading result is transmitted to a place called a quality management server in the cloud, and then it is converted into a DB through the transmitted data. The data made into DB can be monitored by accessing it from the management center.

Clips’ limbal stem cell therapy excludes the components of animals from the culture method. It is a treatment that secures safety by eliminating the risk of rejection when performing corneal transplantation or limbal stem cell transplantation. Also, by developing an in vitro transplantation culture method, healthy parts of the limbal tissue were collected, and safety was improved to reduce deficiency of limbal stem cells.

PaxGenBio developed the time and money-saving MPCR-ULFA platform technology. MPCR-ULFA technology does not use high-price devices and reagents, and it can be used in various countries like Southeast Asia and South America where there are many patients at affordable prices. Unlike other microarrays, it is easy to perform quality control very conveniently at low cost.

△NGeneBio

NGeneBio, which participated in the MIK Hot Spot (Made in Korea Online Exhibition) KHIDI, introduced the genetic breast cancer and ovarian cancer diagnostic products. BRCAaccuTest and BRCAaccuTest PLUS developed by NGeneBio are made with NGS technologies that can quickly and stably detect specific genes involved in the development and progression of breast and ovarian cancer. Analysis software NGeneAnalySys NGS can analyze genomic data produced through equipment and provide clinical results reports. The official explained that this can significantly reduce the diagnostic time.

△INTHESMART

NTHESMART’s 4K surgical fluorescence endoscope system ITS Model-L6K uses real-time fluorescence imaging technology to the Real UHD (4K) endoscopic system function, enabling vascular flow, anatomical structure, and lymph node observation after ICG contrast injection. Through this, by checking the anatomical structure even during surgery and minimizes bleeding, helping to reduce the operation time and recovery time of the patient. Beginning with fluorescence endoscopes for surgery, INTHESMART is preparing to expand its business to hardware medical devices that incorporate various advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence-applied safety diagnostic devices and smart robotic prosthetics.

The products and services of the major companies of KHIDI Health Industry Startup Innovation Center in the MIK Hot Spot (Made in Korea Online Exhibition) will also be displayed in BIO KOREA 2020. Asia’s biggest bio convention BIO KOREA 2020 co-organized by KHIDI and Chungbuk Province and sponsored by MOHW will be open online due to the COVID-29 pandemic on May 18-23. Virtual exhibition halls, conference, and business forums will be operated, and the companies will be promoting their competitiveness. Also, with video meetings, businesses between overseas speakers, buyers, and domestic and foreign participating companies will be made.

The global news network AVING News has begun holding the MIK Hot Spot (Made in Korea Online Exhibition) to help small and medium-sized companies enter the market and attract investment 365 days a year.
