[ENVEX 2018] ‘DGA-X’ a gas analyzer using differential optical absorption spectroscopy, of DONGWOO OPTRON

DONGWOO OPTRON Corp. participated in ‘the 40th International exhibition on environmental technology & green energy(hereinafter referred to as “ENVEX 2018”)’ held at COEX from May 30th(Wed.) to June 1st(Fri.) and showed multi-gas analyzers such as DGA-X and so on.

DGA-X, a multi-gas analyzer is a gas analyzer using differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) in the UV, and DOAS is a method to calculate concentration of a target for measurement using a principle which differs to extinction amount of a target material for measurement based on Beer-Lambert law.

It perfectly accepts digital full-duplex of Ministry of Environment, which makes a digital converter unnecessary, and it is possible to set various measuring range from low to high concentration and it is also possible to respectively measure NO and NO2 without a converter of NOx. Since it uses a source of UV light, it also has fewer effect on water and dust, it is characterized in convenience of live-time operation due to automatic self-test function and fast responding speed.

LCD-80 and LCS-80 are dust-continuous measuring instruments and analyzers of light transmission. These are products based on a principle that penetrates laser light into measuring area using high-efficient Laser Diode as a source of light containing red visible light wavelength of 645~660mm, measures the incident intensity of radiation on a measuring detector, and changes this to the dust concentration.

Meanwhile, ENVEX 2018 is Korea’s largest environmental industrial technology and renewable energy trade exhibition, hosted by KEPA (Korea Environmental Preservation Association), and organized by KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute), KECO (Korea Environment Corporation), SLC (SUDOKWON Landfill Site Management), KEPA (Korea Environmental Preservation Association and KEIA(Korea Environmental Industry Association). The exhibition is attracting attention as the largest publicity and marketing opportunity for companies to become the leading companies in green growth.
